Turning 40!!!

I will turn 40 in 3 days. It’s weird that when I was younger, I always thought 40 yr old people are older and wiser. Lol. Maybe I just don’t realize it, but life experiences indeed made me wiser. Eh, I can only hope.

I made a lot of not so good decisions the past year. I’m usually very impulsive and want to get things done. I feel a rush of adrenaline and then start getting things rolling. One of the big failures we recently made is having the food truck. We didn’t do enough market research and I fully trusted that we can just wing it as we go. However, although we weren’t successful, it still was a valuable experience. I have learned a lot about registering a business, importance of marketing, customer relations, location, tax preparation, and many more. It also opened doors for my husband, like supplying food for other food trucks, getting invited to teach cooking lessons at a state university, and of course, meeting other people (networking).

Note: I’m already 41 but I found this im my drafts so publishing it!
